Join the Co-Op
BLOXoffice isn't a company with job openings — it's a filmmaker-owned co-operative being built from the ground up. Every role here is a chance to help shape what fair film distribution actually looks like.
The cooperative is formed and we're pre-launch, which means early participants can still earn Founding Member status, real governance voice, and the kind of credit you only get when you were there from the beginning.
Filmmaker-First
80% of revenue goes to filmmakers. We take 10%. That's the deal we're building — and it only works if we build it together.
Revenue Share, Not Wages
Our Promoter program pays 10% on every ticket sold through your referral. No ceiling, no expiry.
Co-Op Ownership
The People's Film Cooperative is a formed MN 308B cooperative — participating members gain governance rights. You're not a contractor — you're a co-builder.

Leadership & Governance
BLOXoffice is governed as The People's Film Cooperative — a Minnesota 308B cooperative association. Leadership here isn't an org chart of titles; it's a set of rights every patron member holds and a board structure accountable to them.
Member Voting Rights
Patron members vote on cooperative governance — not advisory input, but binding cooperative democracy under Minnesota Chapter 308B law.
Capital Accounts
Every member has a legally required capital account tracking their equity position in the cooperative, accessible through their member dashboard.
80/10/10, Constitutionally Protected
The 80% filmmaker revenue share is entrenched in the Co-op Governance Policy. Changing it requires a constitutional amendment — a supermajority vote of Founding Members, not an ordinary board decision.
Board-Governed
The cooperative is governed by an elected Board of Directors that oversees policy, budget, and final approval decisions, accountable to the membership at the annual meeting.
Governance details summarized here are subject to the cooperative's finalized Bylaws and outside-counsel review. This page does not name individual officers or directors — see the Board & Counsel Portal for verified board membership.
Once platform revenue is established, these will be posted as paid full-time roles. Get on our radar now.
